The excitement begins

The excitement began as soon as we picked our chits, and we all started sending chocolates and cute messages to our Secret Santas. The group was abuzz with people trying to guess each other's Secret Santa. Some sent Kit Kat, Toblerone, Dairy Milk Silk, Munch, Snickers, and other chocolates.

Some people forwarded secret messages on Instagram and Telegram, making sure not to reveal their names.

The Joy of Giving

As the game progressed, we enjoyed giving gifts to our Secret Santas. One of the best parts of the game was when we got to order each other's favourite food and give it to them secretly. Some got North Indian thali meals, Domino's, Burger King, KFC, Paradise Biryani, and sweet boxes. I got my favourite chicken, and it was delicious, and since Vignesh was not reachable, his Santa donated food instead of giving it to him. It was great to see the joy on everyone's faces as they received their surprise meals and treats.

The Guessing Game

The group was also excited to guess each other's Secret Santa. Some of us dropped hints and clues along the way, while others tried to stay completely anonymous. We spent hours trying to guess who was behind the gifts and messages we received. It was all in good fun, and it added to the excitement and mystery of the game.

The big reveal

On the day of our Secret Santa celebration at Joker's Kitchen, Pavan and I found ourselves unexpectedly caught up in last-minute audit closing discussions with our partner. As a result, our friends had already headed to Marina Beach, and we were running late. The discussion dragged on until 8 PM, leaving us with little time to spare. We quickly wrapped up our work and hailed an auto to rush to the restaurant as fast as we could.

Thankfully, we arrived at Joker's Kitchen, located in the Ispahani Center in Chennai, at 9:30 p.m., just in time to exchange our Secret Santa gifts. To ensure fairness, we started by revealing the angel and Secret Santa names in alphabetical order. Despite the initial setback, the excitement of the gift exchange brought us all together, and we had a wonderful time celebrating the holiday season.

Joker's Kitchen: A Perfect Setting for Our Secret Santa Celebration

Joker's Kitchen in Ispahani Center, Chennai, offered a delightful ambiance for our Secret Santa exchange. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the mouth-watering aroma of food. The aroma was a mix of various dishes, and it left us eagerly anticipating our meal. The excitement on everyone's faces was evident as we walked into the beautifully decorated room with colourful balloons and sparkling lighting. It added to the festive spirit and made the entire experience all the more magical. We were grateful to have our private room, which allowed us to have a more intimate gathering and meant no one could disturb us. The ambiance of the restaurant made our celebration even more memorable.

The Gifts We Exchanged

Chetna's Secret Santa was Sushmita, who gifted her a golden-colored handbag. Jay Ganesh's Secret Santa was Varsha, who gave him a wallet. Keerthana's Secret Santa was Lakshmi Priya, who gave her not one but two gifts—a greeting card with a mirror inside and a beautiful calligraphy pen.

Lakshmi Priya's Secret Santa was Swetha, who gave her a dolphin in a crystal ball and an eye-catching pen with a small girl with a pink cap and dress keychain. Pavan's Secret Santa was Chetna, who gifted him with cool sunglasses.

Swetha's Secret Santa was Keerthana, who gifted her a bottle with neatly hung pictures inside. Vignesh's Secret Santa was Jay Ganesh, and he gave him a nice t-shirt. Vedvyas's Secret Santa was Vignesh, and he gave a lovely Buddha.

My Secret Santa was Vedvyas, who gifted me with a set of magic tricks, knowing my love for them. and then Sushmitha, whose secret Santa was Pavan; he gave her Boult audio pods; and finally Varsha, whose secret Santa was me; I gave her a secret Santa mug and a Butterly greeting card. and Myself, Keerthana, Swetha, and Pavan were then given a group photo from our juniors as a memento.

Birthday Celebrations

We also celebrated Jay Ganesh's early birthday with cake and a Fire Bolt Visionary Smart Watch, as well as Pavan's long-awaited birthday present, a miniature artwork. It was great to be able to celebrate our friends' special days and make them feel loved.

The Joy of Bonding

The entire evening was filled with laughter, joy, and fun. We exchanged our gifts, enjoyed delicious food, and wished each other a happy holiday season. It was heartwarming to see the effort that everyone put into choosing their gifts.
